Motor Oil Hellas

Motor Oil Hellas is a Greek energy group founded in 1970. It is a major contributor to the Greek economy and a key player in the regional energy market. With over a decade of strategic investment in renewable energy sources, it is committed to transitioning to a low-carbon energy world. The company has ambitious plans for carbon capture projects, biofuels, and green hydrogen production. It is also investing heavily in renewable energy, with a target of 50% of its energy portfolio from renewables by 2030. Motor Oil Hellas' €4 billion investment plan for energy transition by 2030 is the largest in Southeast Europe. The plan includes investments in renewable energy, energy efficiency, carbon capture and storage. The company is also committed to social responsibility and environmental protection. It has a number of initiatives in place to reduce its environmental impact, such as energy efficiency and waste management programs.

Role within PHOENIX

MOH is responsible for coordinating the deployment and implementation of PHOENIX services at the demonstration sites, offering essential support to the Greek pilot project. Furthermore, MOH actively participates in the communication, dissemination, and exploitation efforts related to the project.
