Elin Verd is a green energy company and its activities span across a range of domains within the sustainable energy sphere. Its primary activity has been the R&D, production and trading of biofuels. Elin Verd owns and operates two PV power plants in Attica and a biodiesel plant in Central Greece, with a production capacity of 80,000 MT/y ,which uses exclusively waste as raw material (frying oil and animal fats), having almost no CO2 print.

In recent years the company has expanded its operations in the energy domain (green oleochemicals, electro-mobility, smart energy systems) and provides internationally consulting on distributed energy resources.

Elin VERD’s Smart Energy Systems department is leading the next-generation energy services in Greece having acquired an energy trading and aggregation license for participation in the Hellenic Energy Exchange and the European Energy Exchange. Elin Verd’s offerings include, among other things, prosumer related, aggregation and energy management services.
